Overheard

I had a whole other post planned for tonight, but I had to write this down before I forgot.

Sometimes before we take a long car trip, particularly if I'm alone with the kids, I will say a prayer before we leave. So, today, as we were leaving for the Y, Drew said he needed to "have a prayer." We paused and I heard this from the back seat:

"Dear Dod, I like it when Drammy sends me a Buzz costume and buys me Buzz Lightyear stuff. Tank you for Buzz Lightyear. And, Dod, I have to go to my room when we come home from the Y. Oh no, Dod! But I have to have my consequence...Amen!"

I think we can mark this down as his first confession.
